Warranty and Return Policy
It’s important to understand the different policies depending on the type of bat:
Workshop Stock Workshop Outlet Range Bats:
These bats are sold as seen, with no warranty or return option. This is because they may contain natural cosmetic imperfections or inconsistencies in the willow. While they still perform well when cared for properly, the nature of the wood means we cannot guarantee their longevity.
Custom-Made Bats:
Custom made bats come with no option for return or refund, only adjustment, All custom-made bats come with a six-month warranty or cover for one playing season (whichever comes first). This warranty covers any manufacturing defects, but not damage caused by neglect, misuse, edge striking or poor-quality balls.
A cricket bat is a finely crafted item made from natural materials – no two bats are the same. With proper preparation, thoughtful use, and regular maintenance, your bat can serve you for many seasons. However, if used carelessly or not knocked in correctly, even the best quality bats can become damaged early in their life.
Treat your bat with care, and it will reward you with performance, feel, and longevity.
Wholesale Terms
Branding, Intellectual Property & Use of Name
1. Intellectual Property Ownership
All intellectual property rights, including but not limited to brand names, trademarks, trade names, logos, goodwill, and reputational rights associated with Garrard, Garrard Cricket Bats, Garrard and Flack, JN Garrard, Garrard Cricket Bat Company, Garrard Crafted, Edward Garrard, or any confusingly similar name or representation (collectively, the “Garrard Brands”), remain the sole and exclusive property of Edward Garrard of Garrard Crafted Limited.
Nothing in the supply or sale of products, whether on a wholesale or retail basis, shall be construed as granting any licence, right, or permission to use the Garrard Brands.

2. Prohibition on Unauthorised Use
Wholesale customers must not, without prior written consent from Edward Garrard of Garrard Crafted Limited:
• Use any Garrard Brand in any form of advertising, marketing, website content, social media, packaging, promotional material, or sales literature
• State or imply that cricket bats are manufactured by Edward Garrard, Garrard Crafted Limited, or any Garrard-related entity
• Reference Edward Garrard or any Garrard Brand in connection with their products or business
• Use Garrard branding in a manner that suggests endorsement, partnership, collaboration, or manufacture
Any such use without written authorisation constitutes a material breach of these Terms and Conditions.

3. Licence, Fees & Approval
Where Edward Garrard of Garrard Crafted Limited agrees, at its sole discretion, to permit use of any Garrard Brand:
• Such permission must be granted in writing prior to use
• The permission shall be subject to the payment of an annual branding licence fee, the amount of which shall be determined solely by Edward Garrard of Garrard Crafted Limited
• All terms, scope, duration, and conditions of use shall be entirely at the discretion of Edward Garrard of Garrard Crafted Limited
• Edward Garrard of Garrard Crafted Limited reserves the right to review, amend, or withdraw permission at any time
No branding use shall be deemed authorised unless and until payment has been received in full and written confirmation has been issued.

4. Right to Withhold Supply
Edward Garrard of Garrard Crafted Limited expressly reserves the right to:
• Withhold, delay, or cancel the supply of any products
• Refuse to dispatch any goods
• Suspend or terminate any wholesale relationship
until all branding permissions, licence fees, and associated terms have been agreed and settled in full.
This right applies both prior to and during any ongoing commercial relationship.

5. Payment Prior to Dispatch
Where branding permission is required or requested, Edward Garrard of Garrard Crafted Limited reserves the absolute right to demand payment in full prior to the manufacture or dispatch of any products, without exception.
Failure to comply shall result in immediate suspension of supply.

6. Enforcement & Remedies
Unauthorised use of the Garrard Brands may result in:
• Immediate termination of supply
• Demand for retrospective licence fees
• Injunctive relief
• Recovery of losses, damages, and legal costs
Edward Garrard of Garrard Crafted Limited reserves all rights and remedies available under law.

7. No Waiver
Failure by Edward Garrard of Garrard Crafted Limited to enforce any provision of these Terms and Conditions shall not be construed as a waiver of its rights.
